Medication cart modification

If the medication carts are owned by the pharmacy or the home, it may be possible to modify the existing blister card delivery carts for the storage of medication boxes instead of purchasing new carts. This option is typically half the cost of a new cart. Blister card delivery carts which can be modified are manufactured by Manrex and Lionville. Typically, this involves the replacement of two 10 inch drawers with four 5 inch drawers.

A representative from Pelican Medication Systems will first assess whether the carts can be modified and supply a quote for the modification. We will then coordinate the purchase and installation of the retrofit kits making the whole process relatively stress free.

At present this service is restricted to Vancouver (including the surrounding areas), the Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island.
